Dominiek Bouckaert is the man behind the company The Whiskyman. Dominiek has a history in the world of whisky as author of the only independent dutch whisky magazine "Whisky Passion", as founder of the Full Dram Whisky Club and as active member of the Lindores Whisky Society. In 2011 he decided to take over the exclusive import in Belgium of the independent bottler Malts of Scotland from his good friend Luc Timmermans. Together they are also responsible for the known Handwritten series. Late 2011 Dominiek started bottling extraordinary single cask single malt whiskies in his own 'The Whiskyman "series.
