The Creative Whisky Company is the brainchild of David Stirk. His company specializes in bottlings exclusive single casks. The company was founded in 2005 and David is the sole person responsible for the selection of the casks to bottle. His experience as tasting coordinator and journalist for the prestigious Whisky Magazine and his stint for the oldest independent bottler in Scotland proved to be invaluable. He also published ‘The Malt Whisky Guide’. The range consists of three brands: Exclusive Malts (single casks at cask strength, age 8 to 40), Exclusive Casks (single casks of whisky finished on another type of cask, i.e. wine, sherry, port, …) and Exclusive Range (young whisky of 8 to 16 years, easy drinking quality malt). Dave’s philosophy: whisky must abide by these four laws: 1) be affordable, 2) be rich in flavour, 3) be good from nose to finish and 4) be affordable!
