Fusion refers to the use of two different kinds of malted barley, namely peated Scottish malt and non-peated Indian malt. The Indian malt comes from the provinces of Punjab and Rajasthan, at the foot of the Himalayas. The whole was mixed after four years maturation in ex-bourbon casks in a ratio of 25% peated and 75% non-peated whisky. The result is a very smooth whisky that is a mix of subtle peat and rich fruitiness.
